Bonefish Grill - Omaha

Delicious food. Fast, friendly staff. The bang bang shrimp tacos are the best!

This experience left a lot to be desired. It was absolutely average. The cod was okay, the lobster artichoke dip was too fishy, no "dip" and too salty. I tried the mac n cheese and, you guessed it, boring Mac n cheese, edible, not bad though, just blah.. The best part of our food was the steak. No Ice for our waters. Our server was attentive but quiet and did not make an impression. We went because we had gift cards, I hope not to get anymore.

I don't like going to chains in Omaha but a vendor rep wanted to go there and was picking up the tab. We ordered bang bang shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, and calamari. All the apps tasted good. I like the atmosphere because it classy w dim lighting. Again, not a huge fan of chain restaurants but you know what you are going to get when you go here.

I've visited Bonefish Grill in a few cities and they are consistent. The good is always very good and the service adequate. One thing I will say is that for the price the portions are somewhat small. Last night I had the grilled Mahi Mahi. It was well prepared...but small. My salad was crisp and fresh.

Had nice meal of scallops and shrimp but nothing special. No special or memorable flavors. Chilean bass was nice but not really special. Want great seafood? Go to Plank in Old Market.
