Contribuiți la feedbackI tried the Reuben sandwich, which was perfectly balanced—each flavor stood out without overpowering the others. The fries were incredibly tasty as well. The pretzels were good too, although the traditional twist was slightly overcooked, resulting in more of a crunchy pretzel stick texture instead of the usual soft inside with a traditional bite. Paired with mustard and beer cheese, both were excellent accompaniments to the pretzels. Overall, a delightful dining experience!
We were in Omaha and searched for dog-friendly restaurants or bars, and this place came up. I'm so glad we chose to visit! The staff was extremely helpful; they provided our dog with water, set up an umbrella for us, and even turned on a fan in the outdoor area. And let's not forget the food – it was fantastic! We ordered the pretzel and another appetizer, both of which were excellent. I had a kale salad while my son enjoyed a burger and fries, and everything was delicious.
This used to be one of my favorite places to enjoy a beer and a meal. I'm not sure if there's new management, but my last couple of visits have been quite disappointing in terms of service. I understand that many restaurants are struggling with staffing issues, but the service problems here seem to go beyond just having fewer staff members. We waited 15 minutes before a server even acknowledged us, and then we noticed the server just standing at the bar inside. We were told to go back outside, where our order would be taken. Our drinks finally arrived after a 25-minute wait. We ordered an appetizer and two main courses, which all arrived at once and were served cold. We requested silverware and sauces but never received them. When we finished, we had to search for our server to settle the bill. I've been to other restaurants with similar staffing challenges that managed to cope better. I recommend saving your money and choosing a different place.
I've been here before and really enjoyed it, but this time was quite different. There was no host to seat us, even though they claim to have a maximum capacity at the moment. After we ordered through a 'server,' someone finally came from the kitchen after a long wait to let us know they were out of one of the items. From there, everything went downhill. I was not impressed.
Updated Review: We visited on a weekday about an hour before closing, which I believe impacted our service a little. Our server missed part of our order because he couldn't hear everything over the loud fan noise outside. Some items were missing from our plates, but unfortunately, the kitchen had already closed, so they couldn't provide them. Our server also wasn't able to check on us, so we had to go back inside for anything else we needed. However, the food was outstanding, especially considering how close it was to closing time. The service was pleasant and respectful, although it did feel a bit lacking and disconnected at times. Overall, this is always a fantastic place to eat and relax! The drinks are consistently excellent, the sausages are among the best in town, and the service is friendly and efficient! Here’s a picture of their happy hour information just in case:
