City Picnics - Olympia

We have used City Picnics for catering several times now and have never had a problem. Service is great, food is wonderful, and they are prompt. The taco salad bar has been a huge hit each time. Thank you for being reasonably priced!

Great selection, service, quality, and prices. They have breakfast until 10:45 with a full menu, coffee bar, and daily specials. Lunch time there's soups, sandwiches, hot meals, burgers, a salad bar, and daily specials. It's on the bottom floor of an office building so it's closed evenings and weekends.

Used there catering services for family event. Company was professional, on time and reason able priced. Would recommend based on my experience.

My mom passed away and I decided to see if City Picnics would cater for me at the Lacey Community Center on a Saturday. I have used them many times for my professional organization--multiple times a year. I looked at menus and prices from a number of places because I did not expect that they would come on a weekend. However, their prices are so competitive I decided to give it a try. This was a real celebration of life, so I structured it like a B-day party. Bob took the order, and I amended it a couple of times. (I had no idea how many people to expect. I planned mostly desserts and sweets, but also ordered a number of appetizer platters for non-sweet eaters. I had a large birthday cake made at a bakery. Their platters of cookies, lemon bars etc were attractive, (plus the added B-day cake and 6 dozen cupcakes . However the appetizers stole the show--cheese tray had not one piece left; fresh fruit platter was all ripe, good, and gone; fresh vegetable tray--very full, attractive, and well prepared, plus more items. I also had them do coffee, iced tea, and lemonade. Holly as usual delivered, and visited a while. We had cleaned up and left before the time I gave her for pick-up. All in all another successful catering event by City Picnics.

The absolute worst experience I have had with a catering group. Our group ordered simple sandwich lunches with chips and cookies for a really great price, but their communication was terrible (they dropped off almost 150 lunches in an unattended room without reaching out to any of our staff).
