River Pub Aarburg - Olten

We go to the river pub regularly. eating is clear about pub levelau. especially the homemade burgers. we look forward to it every time. the staff is very friendly and attentive. the river pub is absolutely recommended!

So they prove this pub. put, drink, and enjoy it! is it cold to them?

Very pleasant under the trees with live music. nice in the summer. good fries. Nice for a pot with friends.

This pub has a world of potential at its feet and yet it just misses the mark. The menu is limited to a few burgers a hot dog and few others, nothing as hearty as pub food should be, however the cooking of it itself has improved over the past few years. It has a wonderful roof top terrace that is not utilized most the year round but if you happen to be there on a sunny hot day, its quite pleasant. Inside the pub is dark and dingy and in my opinion disgusting. it smells like smoke from the back smoking room and the carpets need replacing! The toilets are no better, as i live near by ive been a few times and every time i have walked into that bathroom i try to hold my breath. In short it needs a lot of tlc. With the competition they have across the road at the corner of the bridge a place called 'einfach anders' or otherwise known as the 'the old post' they are years behind on great pub food, design, atmosphere, cleanliness, service and general hospitality.

Extremely long wait time, for 2 small things to eat and tasted it also has not (but this is a matter of taste)..Personal very unfriendly, and not capable of mixing decent cocktails..Good improvisation, but the bartender had to constantly look at a map how which cocktail is mixed..My conclusion was in great and whole.Through long wait time, no appetit was more and I would almost be mad.
