Don't be fooled if it's cheap, it won't be good and if it's good won't be cheap. before you take a table, check the dishes of the people eating there and see if this is what you want.

A little pricy, but the food was good and the drinks were cold with prompt and friendly service. In addition to regular Peruvian dishes, they also serve burgers, pizzas and some other well-known dishes for Westerners. I suggest ventilating past the main surface and finding the hill a little to find these small food spots. I had the Lomo, woman had the Aji.... Both were ordered and very filled. Good, but far from the best.

25% service fee is just crazy! Avoid this restaurant is possible! Find another Mom-Pap restaurant, which is simply too touristy and overpriced.

Our experience was nothing special. Qhawarina is like most of the small budget restaurants in the city that they have the 4x1 drinks and the 15 soles touristico menu. Our waitress seemed to forget about us for a long time (purchased drinks after meal, forgot the dessert, but brought the bill etc.), although it was only us and a single man in the entire restaurant. I would not recommend this place, but you will find a bunch of the same along this street.

Bad food. Slow service. Weak drinks. Burger patty pounded so thin and over cooked till it was crispy (in not a good way). Worst of all in the end they tried to rip us off. 5 entrees (1 soup, 3 burgers, chicken dish to-go, and enchiladas) and 4x1 drink special... the bill given to us was about 260soles or so. That included a 40something service fee which was very unusual to us. We asked asked about this fee (especially since the service to us that night was next to none) and they got angry at us for questioning it. We noted that we didn 't want to pay that extra when it took us almost 30mins for just drinks, and almost an hr to get our food, and we haD to ask 4 times for the bill (the 4th time, actually walking up to the register to ask again... and the place was not even busy). Plus in general the fee was way too much considering the total cost of food. *ding* That 's when we realized that they miscalculated the the bill in general...flat out... If you just manually calculate the cost of what we order, it should have only been 165 soles or so... even minus the service fee, there was still a big miscalculation. The bill was itemized with the prices listed but those numbers didn 't add up to the total at the bottom. When we pointed this out, they argued with us that the calculations were right. We took a menu and added it up for them, and showed them, they got more mad and just told us to get out. We left money for just our food (correctly added) and left. Calculation mistake happen, fine... but don 't argue with us and get mad at us for pointing it out.
