Corky's Ribs Bbq - Olive Branch

Yesterday afternoon, my husband went to pick up our order, but unfortunately, they never placed it. He ended up getting the chicken comb ribs, and we had ordered ribs for two dinners. When we finally received the food, it was cold and tasted quite stale. I used to really enjoy their ribs, so this was a huge disappointment, especially considering we spent almost $70. To make matters worse, he had to wait when he arrived; the food should have been ready and definitely hot!

When our lunch came, we were blown away! My husband and son ordered pulled pork sandwiches, while my daughter and I shared half a rack of ribs with beans and hush puppies. Every dish was incredibly tasty; however, my son wasn’t a fan of the BBQ sauce, as he prefers his dad's homemade version and usually goes for Kansas City-style BBQ. But that’s just his personal taste; the food overall was fantastic! The meat literally fell off the bones of our ribs! We left feeling completely stuffed and satisfied. I would definitely recommend Corky’s to everyone, but be sure to come with a big appetite and maybe plan for a nap afterward!

I’m very disappointed. I ordered a beef stew for dinner, but unfortunately, the beef was poorly seasoned and overcooked. If I hadn't gone so far and waited so long, I would have returned it. I definitely won't be coming back.

Corky seems to be consistent with really good service in most places I was. The food was consistently good at all places.

Anytime you go to a barbecue joint pay premium prices you expect premium food and this met expectations. The sauce was legit. We had the pulled pork, sliced brisket and some sides. The mac and cheese was really good. We also had the peach cobbler and it was okay, I like a little less crust mixed in with mine. It appears to be a locally owned business which I prefer.
