Contribuiți la feedbackHad been a long time since I visited Daddy's Grill but my family decided to go there for dinner before a movie as it was close to the theater. We were greeted quickly and taken to a table...there were six of us. The overall appearance of the restaurant was much better than i remembered so I had high hopes. Our waiter was very pleasant and took our drink orders quickly. Once he returned with our drinks we said we were ready to order. He took our order in a very professional way, we were having separate checks for the three couples. The first item to come out was my daughters clam chowder. The taste wasn't what we were use to, being we are from New England, but that wasn't the main issue, it was barely warm. There was a fairly long wait before our meals began to arrive. Our waiter said they were short handed so we understood and were not upset about the delay. The meals began to slowly come out... now the big disappointment began. The sea food platter was delivered, looked good except for the clam strips which looked like little pieces of fried breading. First bite..food was cold. Every meal that slowly came out was the same...cold. I had ordered a cheeseburger, which I had considered a safe bet but I had ordered it cooked medium, came out well done and dry. The accompanying french fries were soggy and barely warm. The only dish that was the right temperature was my wife's salad with cold grilled chicken. Overall i would rate the quality of the meals as low cafeteria style. My daughter said their breakfast is better so I may give that a try someday.

A local place we have visited in the past and had a good experience. My wife and I were nearby and decided to stop in.Early dinner so not real busy, with one exception. Room in back was obviously a Christmas party. And they probably had a few cocktails as they were very loud and boisterous. We could barely hold a conversation. Would have been much better if there were doors to close off the room. Happily they were winding down and leaving after about 15 minutes. We were seated immediately and brought water and menus. My wife opted for the Lasagna. I was in the mood for seafood so I chose the Captain’s Fried Platter with Cod, Shrimp, Scallops and Clams with fries. My wife’s salad came, crisp and fresh and delightful. Soon after our meals came. My wife enjoyed the Lasagna but not quite up to par with OG. My Cod was excellent, big portions. My scallops, which I shared, were very good. Shrimp was just too much breading and Clams were basically breading. Disappointing. Took half the Cod and the fries home.My wife also tried the Carrot Cake, which must have been good because it vanished quickly.
The food was good. Great onion rings! The meal was timely. Small salad with good chunky blue cheese. The server was friendly and fun. Nice atmosphere but it was too too cold!!! It was 58 degrees outside and they had the air on. When we asked to turn it down the young owner said NO!!! Won’t come back when it is cool outside!!
Headed in the door at 6:50pm and the bartender came out and said we are closing in 15 minutes...very rudely. The waitress then turned the corner and asked if we wanted to sit. So we asked... can we sit or are you closing? The bartender said, well you have to eat fast in 15 minutes. Extremely unprofessional. Here is the sign stating that they are open 8am to 8pm every day. Do not recommend trying to get into the door past 5, you may be rushed out the door.
