Joseph's By The Sea - Old Orchard Beach

Perfect meal….so so sorry to hear about fire, today!

This was our second visit to Joseph’s by the Sea. The first time we were up on the deck outside and it was quite breezy but yet very beautiful. This time we were inside and it was lovely because the doors opened up wide so we felt like we were still somehow outside but it wasn’t as windy. And it was only because I was dressed nicely with my hair done and that it was an issue. The ambience is lovely. The customer service is wonderful. It is very clean. The service is very fast. The drinks are wonderful. The prices are moderate but as everything else is inflated so are the prices here but what you get is Delightfully made food that you would never cook on your own. I would definitely suggest going here.

Nice , clean restaurant by the sea, nice view, friendly staff. The food is excellent quality, price is fair. Dinner Menu has a lot of variety , Lunch Menu no so much.

While I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast based on this meal, dinner, not so much. Our waitress was attentive and provided excellent service. My wife and I had “the best of both worlds”, lobster and steak. The steak was cooked perfect to temp but the lobster did not taste fresh and there was only half a tale and half a claw. The Demi-glacé for the steak tasted fishy, like water had dropped from the lobster into it and this was consistent on both plates. Again, everyone was pleasant, nice and accommodating but for a nice dinner out my money is better spent elsewhere. I do though highly recommend them for breakfast.
