Kokomo's Old Lyme

Beautiful ambiente and good eating. it will definitely be one of the most important dinning spots.

I don't have a problem with the restaurant having us order and pay on the app. But once our food was delivered, nobody checked in to see if we were happy or if we needed anything. The staff was nice, but mostly MIA. The food was EXTREMELY salty. My husband commented that both his soup and tacos were too salty and I couldn't eat the prawns that were included on my salad... they were inedible. It was nice having my toes in the sand at dinner, but we'll not be coming back.

Beware, you go there and you have to place your order on your phone and pre-pay before they even put it in. There is no one to give you any type of service, my husband‘s food was over cooked even though he ordered his pork chop medium. No one bothered to check if our food was okay, I would not return. If I wanted to go to a kiosk to order food I’d go to McDonald’s. We have been going there previously, and it was a totally different experience. Technology does not replace service. Poor decision on their part to implement the system.

Their way of online ordering by app is extremely difficult and unnecessary. They claim they are short staffed but they have food runners. You cannot go up to the bar and order a drink you need to do it by the phone. There were about 3 other tables there and by 9pm it was empty.

First time there. It seemed like it was on the verge of closing down. Sad. A great location. Needs a cosmetic overhaul. Appetizer was awful. Very greasy fried calamari. We didn't stay to order dinner. Drinks were good. Sitting out on the sand was very nice.
