El Ok Corral Mexican - Old Hickory

Now, I 'm all for good mexican and, don 't get me wrong... the food is yummy. It 's been one of our favorites in the area HOWEVER... when I order takeout, they seem to always get it wrong. Like, I have celiac so I cant have wheat but, no matter how much I stress corn tortillas... nope, flour. ...BUT this last order, that included Borracho Beans for $9.25 has made me reconsider ALL my life choices. Is it just me or does it feel like this little bowl (10oz MAYBE?? should be filled with TOP SHELF liquor... instead of beans for $9.25?! Y 'all need to get it together before your stinginess makes you lose big customers.

Any Texas expats like me will feel very at home, reminds me of the cozy, colorful TexMex restaurants I grew up in. Good traditional dishes in very healthy portions, great, quick service, just a place that's been steadily and reliably good for years. One of my faves in Hermitage.

Gladys was wonderful and so was the gentleman waiter. I do not remember his name.

I've eaten here twice now and had the enchiladas suizas both times and it was delicious both times! The staff is super nice and friendly and the service is pretty quick! I will definitely be back! (Maybe I'll try something new, maybe I'll get enchiladas suizas round three?
