Eli's - Old Harbor Landing

The food just seemed day old, pulled from the fridge and heated just before service type of feel and flavor. Under seasoned, over priced, and sort of rude staff…hostess in particular. Was toward the end of season so maybe they stop caring… The barn at spring house, and winfields had a way better meal and much friendlier staff!

Tuna Nachos! If you ever find yourself in this adorable restaurant on this beautiful island, try the tuna nachos. The wife and I prefer to sit at the small, corner bar. This amazing spot doesn’t take reservations. They open at 6pm and it fills quickly even in the off-season. The food is cooked with love and the service is great. Even the art on the walls is incredible. I look forward to every time I’m fortunate enough to have a meal in this Block Island gem.

We have been given this dinner recommendation many times and due to the fact that we like to eat outside usually while in BI we never have tried it. Until tonight! It was a rainy windy night in Sept and we decided to try it….and we were blown away! The beef poutine appie and arugula and goat cheese salad were amazing! So fresh and flavorful. The scallops were so perfectly prepared I almost did not want to touch them! My husband had the chicken and it was like a small thanksgiving dinner in my mouth! Everything was seasoned perfectly and prepared without missing a beat! And the pineapple panna cotta was the most refreshing dessert to complete the meal! We will definitely return!! Thank you!!!
