The Peanut - Olathe

My friend and I had lunch there last Saturday, and we had such a great time that we went back the very next day! The food and atmosphere are amazing. Paige was our server both times, and she made us feel truly welcome. She was incredibly kind and took excellent care of us. We can't wait to return and explore more of the menu!

This is the best chicken fried steak I've ever tasted—there's truly no comparison. I've sampled chicken fried steak in 35 states, 5 countries, and on 3 continents, and after all that, I can confidently say my search is over. I've finally found exactly what I was looking for!

I really love this restaurant and its staff. We were greeted at the door by the manager, and our server, Cheyenne, was wonderfully kind and attentive. I ordered the chicken nachos, which are consistently delicious, while my husband had The Bird Bomb (or something similar), and it looked incredible—he said it was fantastic. I also have to highlight that this place offers the best chicken wings and BLTs I've ever had! If you haven't tasted any of these dishes, I strongly recommend trying one; I assure you, you won't be disappointed.

We were recommended The Peanut because of the wings. We were told they have the best wings. So we decided to give it a try. It was on the weekend the Chiefs won to go to the 2020 Superbowl so it was packed around lunch time. We were lucky enough to get the last seat and with how busy it was the service was still great. Multiple people came by to check on us and refill our water. It felt like we were some of the only customers in there. We ordered the wings with a side of fries and a tuna sandwich. The wings were great. I think they had some sort of lemon pepper dry rub with buffalo sauce as the wet rub. The tuna sandwich was good too. I would recommend the peanut to anyone. Very pleased with our trip.
