Consistently great food at this place. It’s always a safe bet for a good experience at the Okmulgee location. I especially love the outdoor seating area when weather allows.

Maybe I'm spoiled to actual good food, I've traveled a bit and have a lot of experience with food. I ordered the sliced beef with smoked chicken on a baked potato, they brought the food out less than 5 mins later after the order was placed it was all cold, I asked the waitress why it was cold and she told me it shouldn't be and that they had just cooked it, I said there's no way this was just cooked, and I mean it was ice cold, I never took a bite and returned it and just got a refund. If you want an actual good barbecue experience don't come to okmulgee.

The 1Lb platter was enough to fill me and for $15, it's definitely a good buy!The smoke flavor was excellent. The seasoning on the brisket was good. The beans were excellent as well! If coming to Okmulgee definitely would not pass this place up. Good food!
