West - Oklahoma City

Went on Valentines night and expected a busy place. Was not the case. The service was slow took almost 20 for an appetizer of chips and queso Ordered main meal and it too was slow to come out. They did not have mashed potato’s due to the batch was over cooked. Ordered a Salmon burger and top sirloin med rare. When food arrived the steak was over cooked and instead of the Salmon burger it was a baked salmon. Discussed the problems with the manager and he was very apologetic and accepted our concerns. He was sorry we had a bad experience and he did comp our meal and gave us a $50 gift card. I how they are able to turn around the bad problems they are having. We have enjoyed the restaurant in the past

I like the restaurant. I would return at least once more. However the service was slow. We went on lunch and had to take our food to go because it took about 45 minutes to get it. The waiter seem to have forgotten about us. He was a little dry but I believe that was just his personality.

It’s hard to find a restaurant with a fireplace. The West has a great atmosphere and the fireplace and is so cozy in the winter. The outdoor patio has a fire pit and heaters and a fountain in the summer so it’s perfect for the rest of the year!

Quiet, tasty food with a wide selection, courteous and genuine service.

We visit west often after the church on Sunday. Eating and service are always excellent!
