Vezi toate recenziile.
We went here for a birthday dinner on a cold January Saturday night. We arrived at around pm, so we did not need to use the Yelp app to get our place in line. However, if you plan to arrive after pm, I would highly recommend using the app because the dining room was full by the time we left at pm.We were seated near the wine refrigerator. It was fun to be able to see the wine collection right there next to us. There was only one time during our evening that an employee needed to let out some cold air to go inside and select a bottle of wine. Otherwise, the dining room was pleasantly warm.We were intrigued by the chicken quesadilla appetizer, but we settled on the fried calamari instead. It is some of the best that I have had. The seasoning is assertive and tastes like Doritos. The bread is light and not very crunchy. The fire roasted tomato dipping sauce was a big hit. It's nice to have something different than the standard marinara sauce that is often served with fried squid. Our entrees came next. I ordered the filet medium well with mashed potatoes and grilled squash. The filet was everything I like in a steak tender, meaty, good grill flavor. However, the smoke flavor was almost overpowering, so I had to order a side of ketchup to eat with it. The grilled squash also absorbed the smoke flavor, but I like that in grilled vegetables. I added some salt to them to bring out the flavors, so they appear to fix their vegetables in ways that are friendly to low-salt diets. Finally, the mashed potatoes were simply delicious good mix of soft, marble-sized chunks of potatoes, bits of potato skin, and green onions encased in creamy potato goodness. For dessert, we ordered the banana bread pudding. It comes with a side of whipped cream and banana slices. The cinnamon and nutmeg flavors in the bread pudding were strong; that is what I like in bread pudding. The syrup on top was modest, so you may want to order extra if that's what you like most about bread pudding. The whipped topping provided a contrast to the bread pudding, but it was not cold enough to make the best contrast. I prefer cold vanilla ice cream with my bread pudding. The banana slices made an effective contrast with the bread pudding, but I prefer my bananas closer to mushy than firm. The bread pudding arrived at our table with a lit birthday candle stuck in it. The birthday person at our table appreciated that touch. However, we were disappointed that the restaurant did not give us a complimentary dessert. This is fairly standard procedure at many area restaurants but apparently not at Red Rock Canyon.
Today I decided to try the Redrock Canyon Grill for the first time with my mom and baby cousin. We were the second group to enter the Restaurant and it took our waitress 15 minutes to come take our order after we were not prepared to order the second we were seated. It took me raising my voice to the very snooty hostess after she blantly ignored me twice to get our waitress. Several other tables had already gotten their food long before we even ordered. The waitress was exceptionally rude when answering questions about the so called kids menu. I don't care if you don't cater to children, post a sign up or have your hostesses tell customers with kids you don't cater to them and save them the annoyance of realizing there is nothing for a 13 month old to eat. When our food finally arrived the waitress made a very snarky comment directed at my mother's weight and the amount of fries there were, when my mom touched the fries testing to see if they were to hot for my cousin to eat. I will never go back and my review is going up everywhere, I'm not even going to mention how the manager made it a point to talk to the tables around us but avoided us all together all because we had a child with us.

There is nothing wrong with this place. I loved the fact they do not have a dress code for the type of place that it is. I saw patrons with baseball caps and street cloths. The waitstaff was amazing. I have never walked into a place and am greeted with everyone you pass saying "I hope you enjoy". As I am going to the restroom I had to walk through the prep area. They stopped and said "guest passing through". Now the food! We ate here for dinner and were seated quickly. Oh My Goodness! I didn't take a picture of the duo, the pimento was creamy and cool and the fire roasted tomato dip was sweet. The house salad!! The house dressing! Oh sweet, light, candy. Yes. Candy. I felt I was eating candy before dinner. My husband ordered the Ribeye. It was tender and full of flavor. The corn had a interesting, good flavor. I think it was the onion in it. Cooked to order was perfect. I ordered the cluk n oink. I am thankful my daughter shared the plate with me. The breast was juicy and smokey. The St. Louis Ribs defiantly fell off the bone. I loved the sticky, sweet sauce and the hint of smoke. My mother in law ordered the glazed pork. Again, juicy. The caramelized onion and apple. Okay because there is just something about onion and apples with pork. It just pairs perfectly. We did not have room for dessert but because of the reviews on the key lime pie (and because I love key lime) we took it to go. I would say the only complaint I would have is they did not have a kids meal. My daughter is picky. I wish that we had an option for her.
