Poblano Grill - Oklahoma City

Great lunch today thanks to Poblano for offering a free meal on Veterans Day!!! Thank you for taking time to honor all veterans and active duty personnel!

Seated very quickly. Waitstaff very friendly knowledgeable. We ordered a combo plate with a beef taco and a beef tamale Hatch Green Chile enchiladas, one cheese one shredded beef. The tamale and taco had great flavor but was a little thick on themasa for my husband and the taco was not so crispy on one side. The enchiladas were perfect. A generous size with wonderfulbalanced flavors between the cheese, beef and green chile sauce. Of course, the chips were fresh and warm and the salsa, queso guacamole were very tasty.

When we come to OKC from our of town, we usually choose poblano grill or of all the places to eat. We love the food, their chips and salsa are the best. But today the food was so so and the service was terrible!! My water never got a refill, chips wereempty and never refilled, server never came back to see if everything was okay. She acted like she hated her life. Which I feelbad if anyone is going through hard times, we've all been there. But seriously, I wanted to ask her if she was okay. The foodwas good but just barely warm. Not hot. My husband said he won't go back. We never got checked on, we never got refills ondrinks or chips, she never checked on us, and when she brought the check, never said a word. She just sat it down and walkedaway. Usually they say, thank you for coming in. She never asked how everything was. Just extremely out of the ordinary for adining experience.

Used to enjoy Poblano with coworkers; good food and atmosphere. However, went for the first time in a while Thursday night. The waitress appeared to want to be anywhere than serving customers. The corn tortillas were cold and so tough we couldn?t eat them.We requested more and they were the same. Worst meal I?ve had in a while. And to put the icing on the cake, the waitressshorted my 97 year old Mom $10. Will never go back!

Had lunch there last week. I had the fish tacos, and it was refreshing to see a real fish fillet in each taco. Everything seemed fresh and made just for me. It had been a while since I had been there, like years! But I will be back great food and greatservice
