O Bar Ambassador - Oklahoma City

Very disappointed by the lack of professionalism, misinformation and seemingly DISCRIMINATIVE experience I met at OBar this weekend. I called days ahead to tell them I had a party of 10 12 people and that we would come to celebrate my birthday. An employee named Carolyn told me that they could not take reservations for a section technically, but said that they would take my name down and let them know that I expect at the time I requested. Carolyn told me that it would not be a problem because they regularly take up parties of this size. I called back the day when they opened, spoke to another employee who confirmed that it was not a problem that we might just have to wait a few minutes before entering. When the time came, my friend went to the bar, and I let the doorman know that the rest of my party would come soon. When my predominantly ethnic group came, they said they didn't let anyone in. I asked if they only wait for the guest to leave the bar before leaving someone else in the door, then said no and that I was instructed not to leave someone else in This was extremely annoying than I did the right steps to ensure that all my guest OBar for my 25. Celebration would be welcomed, but it turned out not to be the case. My friend and I visited this bar frequently, but I will spend my money elsewhere and suggest that others do the same especially people of color.

This place has a beautiful terrace with a beautiful view of OKC. The drinks are also delicious!

That's the best roof bar in town. The views here are fantastic and the bar staff is very good what they do. The drinks are also made right, with attention to detail.

I'm here now. It was a terrible NYE experience. We're here at 9:30. There was a short line of 15. Magically at 10 a.m., the capacity for us decreased. The kitchen is closed at 10 o'clock. All parties around me are upset about this experience.

This review is for cigar smokers. The O bar considers itself a cigar bar. They have a cigar menu, check. They let you smoke cigars outside on a fairly small balcony, check. You can smoke inside in the bar area, no go.It really a bar with a smoking area outside which sucks in the winter and on windy days or days when it's 90+ degrees outside.O bar. Commit to what you say you are. You have a good concept but bars allow smoking or at least they did before all the granola munchers came into power.
