They have rad playlists, and the only place I've found in okc that serves topéca coffee. Sooooo good. And OMG vegan pastries/cookies. The hours let me get coffee before work!

WARNING: Do not order the whoopie pies if you are with company. You will spend your entire visit scarfing it down, and marveling in its greatness. Others will ask for a taste, leading you to defend your precious pastry with alienating remarks and rude glares. Then you will only have your espresso for company.

District House is like the Plaza’s Paramount – with local coffee and a younger clientele. The emphasis is on community involvement and unique events – like the above mentioned open mic night and movie showings.

I enjoy the atmosphere, the coffee and the food. if they have a low key place to take back and a study or work on their laptop, they come to this place where people are nice, the music is always good, and the decor is cool. Once they're done with the work, the game is served in the same counter space that is a plus for my Friday here.
