State Side Deli - Okemos

Nice place for breakfast and lunch, my wife and I were several times. She likes to have several vegan options for if she doesn't feel like meat (including an impossible burger and a vegan reef at the time of writing. The staff has always been friendly and attentive and the restaurant was clean when I was there.

So we were here twice last month and loved it. I came first as a recommendation to try her impossible burger, but then I realized that they had a Vegan Reuben and I had to try it first. It was so good, and the bread was perfectly roasted and everything. Next time I came and got the impossible burger and of course they were not disappointed. Staff are so welcoming and patient and they make you want to return to the atmosphere and not just the food. And then the carrot cake... it took on the table for maybe a minute Lol. It was moist and light and tasty. In any case, check them because it is good food. It comes to you timely and it is nice to take care of nice people who really care

Quick, affordable and well prepared. Fish and club sandwiches were great. Service was also good!

Me and my husband came here for lunch. Quick service and very friendly and helpful staff. Food was fresh and really amazing. We will definitely return again.
