Jameson's Charhouse - OKATIE

Robin is a great manager.Joe, Amanda, and Amy are great servers. This is the best place to go for a hamburger, or sliders, or French Onion soup, or a hot ham and cheese sandwich. Although Jameson's serves primarily Sun City, just come in the front gate guest entrance and tell them where you are dining. They also do banquets and have a Sun room for larger parties. I love this location. No food served Mondays, but has a great Happy Hour and drink prices are reasonable for the area. In addition, the bar also serves a great Hot Dog. I've been coming here for eight years, and I'm biased, but the burgers (under $14) are indeed made with quality beef and are served with fries and coleslaw.

Meh...food is not prepared by a chef but by a cook. It's too bad they don't hire a chef as they have a huge captive audience that would love to have a really good restaurant right here. The food is ok but nothing that you can't cook at home.

Decent food for the price. Service is terrible. Restaurant is never full but it is hard to get wait staff attention.

The food is O K, if you are very hungry, and are not a food affection-ado But whatever you order ,do not order any drinks from the bar. I ordered a **** Mary , which could be disguised as flavored water. Am used to frequent many Jameson Restaurants in various states, especially Illinois. Illinois is the top ranked, as far as I am concerned. Very tasty THICK Steaks, and excellent drinks. I guess the one in Sun City, caters to the non steak lovers.

Food is good but basic. Love the Greek salad and salmon. Service is prompt and friendly. The ambiance is not cozy and can be loud.
