Los Gatos Locos - Ojochal De Osa

We have dined at this restaurant several times and have always been satisfied with the delicious food and excellent service. They were able to cater to our severe allergies, providing gluten-free options without any trouble. We also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and live entertainment one evening. I highly recommend this place.

This restaurant is a unique place with a cozy atmosphere. They also have live music, so there may be bands playing on the weekends. The service and food were excellent. They even made a special Aperol Spritz for my wife while I enjoyed a couple of IPAs. The house salad was nothing extraordinary, but the homemade dressing was delicious. For our main course, we tried their specialty dish called chimichanga with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious.

I had a fantastic lunch today. I ordered one enchilada with slow-roasted chicken. It was very fresh and the perfect portion for one person. Absolutely delicious!

This was one of our favorite lunch spots in the Uvita area. Mexican Pizza was very good. Reasonably priced and the owners were there to make sure everything was good. Their hot sauce was exceptional.

On the last night of our group trip, we went to Los Gatos Locos. This restaurant was a favorite of some of our expat friends and now a favorite of ours. Here we dined on Mexican food in the jungle in a tree house setting. The place has a cool, casual vibe with a hangout area downstairs and adult games including giant Jenga. Upstairs in the tree house we drank margaritas and cervezas, had great service and enjoyed really tasty Mexican food which is hard to find in Costa Rica. Another fabulous dining experience which confirms why Ojochal is often referred to as the Culinary capital of Costa
