Contribuiți la feedbackI had read about this place on happycow, and here is my westridge market and fine foods review. it is a mid-sized store on the main road in the city of ojai (e. ojai ave). they can find some natural food products, but I would say that there are more conventional products (70% as natural products (30%). they can also find local food, such as avocados, oranges, and locally made special sauce. there are many meats and cheeses offered here.
Westridge is definitely vegetarian friendly under the local resident david west 's property and david austin 's capable management. the young you want to know are josh, ricardo and dave. they are the team that keeps the product area fresh and affordable. I was particularly impressed by joshs knowing about obst and sweet. he can literally name and describe any article they put on the rule. for us vegetarian, that is important! as josh asked what josh likes best about his job, josh replied: I like that I'm allowed to try new products for our customers. when he was asked, he asked a question from me: have you ever eaten an ice cream bean? I answered, huh? an ice cream bean, josh explained, is a fruit in the form of a long shed, sometimes a foot in the length, surrounded with a bright white cellular around several large seeds and is indigenous in Central and South America. you eat the fruit mass, he says. it tastes like vanilleeis, especially when they first freeze it. josh, ricardo and dave have given themselves a lot of effort in the daily increase and manicure of the production department. how josh says it is important to keep it fresh. about a third of its products is organic, although this team tries to increase this percentage at any occasion. Organic products included, but is not limited to apples, baby carrots and berries. westridge supports local farmers as priority when prices are competitive. they store a lot of fresh mushrooms like portobello, shijitake, crimini and white mushrooms. one of the most unique parts of the product section is the variety of fresh herbs including lavender, chocolate minze, rosmarin, oregano and thymian. my recommendation is to visit the Deli area and take picnic elements to enjoy on a faul-hazy-crazy-day in this summer. all articles are appropriate for what they receive. I like the vegetarian quiche and fresh obstsalat. the deli area also has deviled eggs and fresh pico de gallo. it offers a lot of salads, including garden, yellow beet, mozzarella balls with basilikum pesto, bow-tie pasta and obligatory makkaroni and kartoffel salads. buy a drink, a baguette, a slice of cake or another fresh dessert and they are ready to picnic. for us vegetarian westridge market and fine foods is a perceptible picnic waiting for it. if they haven't visited them, they will do so. they will not be disappointed.
The restaurant has nice, good quality food and the staff is excellent. The environment is pleasant, clean, and the staff is helpful. I appreciate that the kitchen staff follows safety procedures.
A wide variety of small dishes available. The menu features many organic options as well.
