Casa De Lagos - OJAI

I discovered this place through Axxess, and I'm glad I did! The service was quick and friendly, the food was delicious, and the outdoor setting was beautiful. The restrooms were also impressively clean. They even offered complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered the chimichanga and Relleno plate, which cost around $11, and both dishes were excellent.

The service at this restaurant is outstanding. From the moment you walk in, you feel genuinely welcomed, and everything is done with a smile. I highly recommend the nacho platter—go for the large one; you won't regret it! The burritos are hefty and delicious. Don’t miss the mango margarita with a sugared rim—it's a real treat! The horchata is a bit on the sweet side for my liking, but that's just a minor detail. Overall, this is an excellent spot for Mexican cuisine!

I stopped to eat in this area and was greeted by a sweet gentleman at the front with a beautiful smile who took my order. He told me it was just a matter of waiting. I expected it might take a while, but just a few minutes later, he returned with the same lovely smile and a bag containing my order. The aromas in the car were amazing, and we were all very hungry. Everyone loved the taste of the food. The beans were made just like abuelita would make, and the enchilada sauce (not from a can) was rich and flavorful, perfectly seasoned for my son. The crushed beef tacos were absolutely delicious—no complaints at all. It was a great experience for everyone, and I've definitely saved this place in my favorites!

Only came at 11:00 to use this amazing lunch. I had the Chile Verde Burrito wet. The service was amazing and the staff friendly. I'm definitely back. Thanks to Fire Station 22 for the recommendation!
