Javier's Authentic Mexican Food - Ogden

Food is good but they charge like 4 bucks for a coke and extra chips and salsa is 2 buck now. Still worth it for chips and salsa though. I know everything is going up but you can get the same food cheaper other places. The kids nachos was a joke. Just chips and cheese and had hardened for 5 bucks. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

I really do love Javier's food, namely their mole. They have been around for much longer than I have, and still maintain their position as a solidly respected mexican restaurant, and a staple in the Ogden/North Ogden diet. It's some pretty expected mexican food, but it's better quality than a lot of what you can get in Ogden/North Ogden. I definitely reccomend trying this place Service: Dine in

I've been here before, and it was below anticipation... my family invited me out and had to change our plans due to the other restaurant closing earlier than others, and it was later in the evening. The food was bland. My son's sauce looked and tasted like gravy instead of enchilada sauce. The salsa for the chips was extremely bland, and my daughter said it tasted like crushed tomatoes. My granddaughter complained that the sourcream was runny and appeared to be watered-down. My enchilada combo had no taste, so I asked for some salsa... the waitress brought out three kinds ... the bottled one was the only one with flavor. No one except me finished their meals and declined take-home containers. We were very disappointed about the meal and price.

Had lunch with my family. We had the Supremo Nachos, burritos and tacos. Staff quickly brought out chips and salsa. Waiter was prompt and took our food and drink orders. Food was served timely and hot. All were very tasty, with ample serving sizes. The atmosphere seemed old and worn. Seemed to be clean. They have a dining room and patio. Prices were pretty competitive with other similar restaurants. Plenty of parking. Service: Dine in
