Georgio's is always bustling with customers and reservations should be made several months in advance, but the experience is definitely worth it. The restaurant is owned and run by the Chef, ensuring that the food is cooked to perfection.
From booking the table to the end of the night, we can't fault the experience. Staff were friendly, polite and professional. The chef often comes into the restaurant to get to know his customers and hear their feedback. Meal choice was great and catered to all our wants. We are regular customers and have never doubted our choice as our favourite restaurant for the past 10 years. We go for the entire experience and enjoy it every time. The steaks melt in your mouth, the seafood fresh and full of flavour. We are yet to find a restaurant that compares anywhere in Melbourne.
A meal for two with my wife. We've tried 3 times to visit before but was always fully booked so finally got our chance. The place was packed and it felt a bit like it with not much space between the tables. But the food was first class. I had the 500g steak which was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The peppercorn sauce was spectacular. My wife had the salmon with garlic prawns, which she loved. They did forget our wine but where very apologetic. The service was excellent otherwise with a very friendly team. Would definitely visit again.
My family went out to dinner to celebrate my son's birthday. The steak, seafood, and chicken dishes were all amazing and generously portioned. After finishing our meal and asking for the bill, we were surprised with a small cake compliments of the restaurant. The waitress had overheard me wishing my son a Happy Birthday and decided to bring out the ice cream cake at no extra cost. The service couldn't have been any better in my opinion!
