Delicious and nutritious dining experience with the use of organic vegetables sourced from the resort. Mr. Chandan was extremely polite and the chefs were excellent.

The Salt Pit is situated in Hari Sabha, P Chawk Moulani, Gorumara National Park, Jalpaiguri. They offer a wide variety of affordable and customized trips. The food is delicious, I absolutely loved it! The ambiance is pleasant and the service is also excellent.

The best restaurant in Gorumara and Lataguri with a wide variety of cuisines such as Chinese,Indian,Moghlai,Thai etc and it is easily accessible from Lataguri as its about 1.5 to 2kms from Lataguri.The staff is very cooperative and well mannered and the Executive Chef is just too good and has a good knowledge in a wide range of dishes .One will not find this range and flavour in the entire neighbourhood. He has a good sense of flavour and the vegetables they use in the dish is fresh and as they have their own kitchen garden where they grow seasonal vegetables and the same is procured.They also have a bar with quite a good stock of regular liquor.The dish is served in the right temperature and with the right kind of cutlery and its a part of the hotel ”The Reserve”,Gorumara .The restaurant is right across a well maintained and well mowed lawn with colourful flowers. There’s a big glass panel which overlooks the lawn. So one can enjoy their food with a pleasing view of the lawn. It’s specially pleasing to the eye’s in the day time when one can get a clear view of the greenery around. It’s separated into family and non- family areas for those who want to enjoy the food and are teetotallers. The décor is nice and blends nicely with the surroundings. The place is quite spacious so one need not worry about not getting a table. The staff and the captain are well trained and have a clear knowledge about the dish as in the menu and will give their opinion if asked and if one is not sure about what to order and will readily modify the dish according to one’s taste buds. It’s even child friendly as they modify the dish according to the child’s needs.
