Restaurant with terrace in the Marina Corta of Lipari. I must point out that in general on this island we have continually felt cheated. The island is nothing special and yet it is much more expensive than other infinitely more beautiful parts of Sicily. In this particular restaurant they served us a house wine that was already served and that was diluted with water (we have ordered this house wine in other restaurants in Sicily and we have not had the same impression). We ordered some marinated anchovies that were passable, a grilled swordfish that was like a shoe sole, and a Vongole pasta, just acceptable. When we finished we ordered two coffees and two shots of Limoncello. When my partner asked for the bill, I went to the bathroom and at that moment I saw the waiter telling the girl who was at the register, “it's Spanish.” I don't remember the total bill, but for the espressos and limoncellos (shots) I remember that they charged us €16.
