Not a mainstream tourist destination, just a nice local pasteleria that serves excellent lunches or Prato de Dia. Today we had grilled sardines which were excellent! The day before we had shrimp in a mashup of risotto and carmelized onions, amazing!

A lovely cafe patisserie nice coffee and great cakes, tables with waiter service or dink at counter ... great range from simple sandwiches to to simple dishes. They did exactly what we wanted on a toasted cheese and ham croissant. The range from rustic to elegant pastries is wider than many similar cafes and of a much higher standard. We have stopped here several times in our few days in Lisboa attending events up the hill and it’s one place I always come back to when we visit. Well worth a stop and reasonably priced.

Sitio habitual para café a meio da tarde! Atendimento 5* e uma montra de pastelaria de fazer crescer a água na boca!Esplanada super simpática apesar de virada directamente para a estrada!O meu spot de eleição para um café rápido e momento de gordice da semana!
