Sonic Drive-in - Odessa

I absolutely love my Sonic experience! Stacy Pemberton is simply the best; she is always so friendly and remembers my favorite drinks and orders. Every time she says "God bless you," it brightens my day and makes me feel wonderful.

The new pickle fries are amazing! This Sonic can be hit or miss—sometimes the food is fantastic, while other times I wouldn't even feed what I received to my pets. However, tonight was an excellent experience; the food was great and served quickly. Plus, their ice cream machine was working, which means someone is definitely doing their job well and not slacking off!

After about 10 people were served after my order, a staff member came out 15 minutes later to inform me that what I had ordered was unavailable. This issue seems to stem from the entire nighttime team, not just the kitchen.

I'm really not a fan of Sonic. Either my order gets messed up, or lately, no one responds to the order button—whether they have a lot of cars or just a few. For the past ten years, every time I've tried Sonic, I've encountered some sort of issue. I don’t think I’ll ever go back. On the other hand, Stars is great; they always answer the call button promptly and take my order accurately and quickly.

Look for a different restaurant. The owner is quite stingy and does everything possible to cut costs. The Jr Burger comes with just half a slice of cheese, even if you pay for it. They'll fill your drink with ice and skimp on the actual drink. Although the menu states that certain items come with sauces, they'll charge you extra for them. If you have food allergies, be wary—things can get complicated. The shake machine is only cleaned once a month, which is concerning.
