Rockin' Q Smokehouse - Odessa

This is a fantastic local spot for barbecue. We tried their sliced brisket, ribs, beans, potato salad, and macaroni and cheese, and everything was delicious. While the service was decent, it lacked that warm and welcoming vibe that would make occasional visitors feel special. The restaurant itself was clean, with good music playing, making it family-friendly. The prices are reasonable for a barbecue joint. However, I do wish they offered a platter or option to sample a bit of each type of meat, like some other local barbecue places do. Overall, we would definitely come back. It’s conveniently located, although our experiences have been slightly better at other restaurants.

I can’t believe they didn't have ribs available at lunchtime! I arrived at noon, and the brisket and sausage were so dry that I couldn’t even enjoy them without barbecue sauce. This is disappointing.

The service was extremely disappointing. We waited over 20 minutes for our food.

Last few times I been going my chips are old today my fries were old they was hard be the last time I go when I get brisket nachos Or loaded fries

There was a time a cuppla yrs ago my feelings abt RQS was if it closed down, oh well !!! BUT, babaeee let me tell y 'all I went 2 days ago and man, day grub was so kickin ', dude, I 'da smacked da hell outta my Mama IF, she 'd been with me! For you others that means the food was really really good. PLUS the was enough to take home and chow down on later the teas were juuuus sweet enough.
