Genghis Grill - Odessa

The food was okay. As a first-time visitor, I found it a bit challenging to gauge the portion size of the starch that comes with the handcrafted bowl at the Mongolian grill. It's easy to either overdo it or end up with too little when adding the wide variety of condiments and sauces. While the service was good, the air conditioning was turned up to maximum on a chilly day, making it uncomfortable for the guests. Additionally, the food took longer to cook than expected, and our table experienced an uneven serving; my dish was ready while my friend was still waiting for his.

Typically, this restaurant is fantastic, but this particular location fell short. After being seated, we waited more than 15 minutes without anyone attending to us. One waitress approached our table but didn't take our drink order; instead, she went off to assist another customer who had received the wrong order. Eventually, she returned to inform us that another waitress would be coming to help us. After waiting another five minutes without anyone arriving, we decided to get up and leave.

I used to really enjoy this location, but ever since it changed management, it has become a complete disappointment. The crab was extremely smelly and discolored. Thankfully, I noticed it before eating and reported it to management, but even after 30 minutes, no action was taken. I felt compelled to warn other customers not to order it since management was unresponsive.

Kymberlee was an excellent waitress—one of the best we've had in a while. The food was also really delicious.

The staff here is incredibly helpful and friendly. The food is amazing! This was my first time at Genghis Grill, and my waiter guided me through the process. Within just 10 minutes, I had the best stir fry I've ever tasted.
