Firehouse Subs Chimney Rock - Odessa

Update Sept 2022: everytime we have dined in it has been a great experience. Gluten free options are available. The sandwiches are always made to perfection and are hot and fresh. The staff is hit and miss but other than that it's always a greatexperience. Ordered online through their website, with the delivery service option. Big mistake. Literally took like 2 hoursfor our sandwiches to get to the house and we live a few blocks away from it. So next time we will order and pick it upourselves. As for the sandwiches every tasty but they do take it a little over with the mayo. Other than that we will probablyorder from them again but will pick it up in person or maybe eat there as well.

Don't bother calling in an order. It is now automated and it sucks. Take forever and she doesn't understand half of everything. Beyond frustrating. My order also sat there until I asked if it was mine. Food is great. I will order online next time. Food: 5/5

Terrible experience! I was second in line and ended up waiting over 30 minutes for two sandwiches, all because a large online order was being processed. What about the customers who are actually in the store? The line to place an order was incredibly long. When I finally received my subs, they were extremely dry with hardly any mayo and none of the deli mustard that was promised. While the customers in the store were waiting for their orders, the entire staff seemed focused on the online order. Management really needs to reassess their priorities.

I had a question about the phone app and cashier seems uninterested in helping me and told me that I could get my order at the end which made me feel like I’m more of an annoyance than a paying customer and he didn’t even get me my drink cup. I had to ask for it. I have been coming here for years and usually has great service and attentiveness, however this time seemed different. They had one girl working at the sandwhich station by herself while the rest and the manager were appearing to be chit chatting in the back. Also no one said “Welcome to Firehouse!,” which is your signature welcome phrase. This place leaves little to be desired and it definitely needs improvement. Also the door is broken and doesn’t shut all the way which is leaking A/C.
