Casa Ole - Odessa

We gathered there for dinner with a few friends. We started with plenty of chips and salsa, and we added some delicious queso. While the others ordered various Mexican dishes, I opted for the boiled chicken sandwiches. I enjoyed two margaritas, which were just right. The sandwich was excellent, and the service was fantastic—our server was very attentive and friendly.

I started by calling the restaurant to inquire about the wait time, and they informed me there was no wait. However, when I arrived two minutes later, they told me there was a 15-minute wait, which ended up being nearly 30 minutes. Once seated, I waited 10 more minutes before a server approached our table. She took our drink order and brought our drinks, but then she left and it took another 15 minutes for her to return to take our food order. We then waited an additional 30 minutes for our food, which not only looked like it was microwaved but tasted that way too. We were never offered drink refills, and when I tried to flag her down for more drinks, she promised to get them but never returned. Overall, this was the worst service I have ever experienced at a restaurant, and I do not recommend wasting your money here.

It took forever to get to our table. A couple who ordered at the same time we did finished their meal and left before our food even arrived. When we finally got our food, it was awful—definitely a 2 out of 10. The waitress didn't refill our drinks, and the dust we mentioned about the tables in the common areas back in early August was still there. The manager didn’t even bother to ask us how our dinner was. When my husband suggested she should check on us, she just walked away.

Honestly the food wasn't bad. My main complaint is that the drinks were gross. I ordered water for my son not knowing that it was city water. I ordered sweet tea which was also made with city water. It ruined the whole experience. Haven't ate there in years but I remember it being much better. Tortillas were really hard on the enchiladas

4/25/2021 I had lunch here today and everything was absolutely amazing. I had the el paso plate and it was hot and fresh. The chips and queso and the salsa were fantastic as well. I had the fried donuts for dessert and it was amazing as well. The staff was friendly and helpful.
