One Love Island Cuisine - Oceanside

I was in the mood to try something new and found this little Jamaican place in the heart of Oceanside. Boneless Jerk Chicken was tender and tasteful Vegan Ital was also delicious with rice I really like Plantains. Steamed Kohl was a kind of Bland tho Other then that it was delicious. Thank you?

I had a great take out experience. The menu represents most things you?ll find common on trips to Jamaica. The service was first rate, and the food was good. I got the jerk chicken, which was very good at least on comparison to visits to Jamaica. The Pattie?s were good, but could do with a bit more meat in my opinion. I?ll look forward to exploring more the menu.

All I can say is flavor blast! One of the best unique places in the area. Small shop offering take-out only. Took about 10 minutes for our order, about $14 for each plate after taxes. The meats are SO tender. The flavors are strong. Portions are large. There's really no reason not to try this place. You'll love it (Jerk chicken is no-joke spicy)

Found myself in Oceanside this past weekend trying to get away from SD proper and decided to stop here after trying their wings and plantains a couple of months ago at a gathering. The catered wings were so perfectly seasoned and spicy. My partner and I have been talking about them ever since! This time around we ordered 3 plates of jerk chicken spicy) and a spicy beef entree. This place was POPPIN when we pulled up so I expected a wait but still expected my order to be correct of course. When I go to pick up the lady called out the order by asking if I got one order of beef and three chickens, so I knew we were going to be squared away! We get to our friends house to sit down and eat...and there were four chicken plates! : I was so excited to try the beef.... pretty bummed about the order being incorrect, but still plan to go back because the food and service is overall good. Just wished my order was correct from the beginning. Note to self and everyone else): Check your orders before you leave lol. No matter how big they are!

The food was good! The one big complaint I have is that certain dishes are very spicy! I can handle medium amounts of spice and it was too much for me. Make sure when ordering, you make sure you ask what is spicy so you don?t order something you can barely eat. They have a large selection of drinks that you can try. The ones I tried were very good. The staff was also very friendly.
