Hideaway The - Oceanside

I really love the hideaway. The food and service are exceptional. They have one of the best spots to watch the sunset. Everyone gathered on the deck to watch the sun go down and it was gorgeous! After hours we had drinks and listened to great music in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

The food at this restaurant is superior to most establishments on Fire Island. The stunning views distract from any unpleasant odors as you move through the dining area. The building is in need of significant maintenance. The service was friendly, and the management embodies the typical tourist restaurant stereotype, especially for one located on an island.

This restaurant on Fire Island provides exquisite dining. The interior and exterior of the restaurant are stunning, and every dish was incredibly tasty. Located at the end of town, just beyond the Verizon building, this was the best meal we had during our trip, and we tried many great restaurants. Be sure to add this place to your list of must-visit spots during your Fire Island vacation.

Loving the new menu at the Hideaway this summer. Crab cakes are a must though nothing disappoints! Great food with the best views in Ocean Beach.
