Murphy's Candy Ice Cream - Ocean Shores

Do not order the ice cream here, it is flavorless and barely has any hint of cream or dairy. Claims to be homemade ice cream and tastes like frozen food coloured skim milk. The prices only compound the issue $6 for a scoop and $10 for a 16oz shake when all your getting is flavoured water is hardly worth it. Avoid this store.

This is still a Favorite place to go while in Ocean Shores! Love their selection. Even if you cannot have Real Ice Cream, there are alternatives available a lot of different candy as well. Had to stop here 2 times during our 3 day trip to Ocean Shores! My blood sugar crashed it was quick easy to get some candy to help bring it up Fast! The staff are all very friendly, seem very happy to serve their customers all are very helpful as well.

A lot of the taffy is stale, the black liquorice turns your mouth BLUE and is really hard to get off your tounge. The cinnamon half the time does not taste like cinnamon, and different people there charge different prices for it. Have tested it and got the same amount of taffy 4 times, and 2 times it was 6 dollars more than the other two times.

There are better places to get candy and ice cream. This place used to be good but not so much anymore. Low inventory of candy and salt water taffy as hard as a rock. Employees just standing around staring at us making us feel odd. Not a pleasant experience going there this time and doubtful we'll go back.

Unfriendly staff, sub-par melty ice cream, no samples I didn’t like my flavors that I couldn’t sample), no place to sit, verrry pricy $20 for two people), ice cream kind of tasted old like it was sitting in the freezer for far too long, person that rang me up was staring at my tip amount like a hawk…very uncomfortable.
