Service was so poor, I never ordered. Left and ate elsewhere.
6:00 Tuesday....I ordered hibachi steak chicken. The cook mistakenly put some shrimp with the steak instead of chicken. The guy at the register checked the to go box and started to carry it to the back (out of sight). I had watched my order being prepared. I kept telling him it was ok, I would take it. When I got home, he had put some nasty, pre-cooked, tough teriyaki chicken on my plate. I don't Ever order teriyaki! Just don't care for the sweet glaze. My plate would have been fine, even with the first mistake but he compounded the error by putting something i didn't even order on my plate.
I’m not a tourist, but I decided to stop by this restaurant where I ordered shrimp, tempura, a salad with ginger dressing, and a few other items. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The tempura batter was an unappealing yellow color and overly greasy. As for the ginger dressing, it was a letdown; it tasted like someone had simply grated fresh ginger into a container without any other ingredients. I recommend they visit a genuine hibachi restaurant to see how tasty ginger dressing can be. The other dishes we tried were barely edible. I was really hungry, but this was by far the worst meal I've had in North Myrtle Beach.
This was a delightful surprise! I was hesitant at first due to the low rating, but I'm so glad I decided to give it a chance! The food was served hot, delicious, and in generous portions! I had the chicken and steak, while my mom enjoyed the teriyaki chicken. We were both extremely satisfied! It was genuinely tasty! I would definitely return here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others!
