Siena was such a nice and friendly server. I plan to always request her. Excellent food and atmosphere!
I really enjoyed prime rib night at Emily’s! Every Tuesday they offer the prime rib special, which includes a 14 oz. prime rib with a garden salad, asparagus, and potato for $29.95. Considering all you get, that’s a very good deal for Ocean City. All the food tasted excellent and was well-prepared. The dining room wasn’t that crowded, yet the server took about twenty minutes before she attended to my table and took my order. Other than the long wait to order, I had a wonderful dinner at Emily’s, and I recommend this place overall.
We came here for the all-you-can-eat crab legs. We made a reservation for 5 p.m. and were served delicious hot crab legs within 10 minutes of being seated. This was a great first time experience, our server was very attentive, and I look forward to coming back next time we are in town.
It's a shame this place was a huge disappointment because it was so easy to get a table, but I guess they weren't busy, because they aren't that good. With only one other table filled in the dining room, it took almost 45 minutes to get our meal. Once 6 of us received our meal, the 7th didn't come out for another 8-10 minutes. A portion of my meal was missing and they didn't bring syrup with one of the orders of French toast. After 45 minutes of waiting, the 2 orders of pancakes came out completely burnt and we had to send them back and wait longer for them. The waitress seemed as if she was new because she almost spilled 3 glasses trying to pour water instead of taking each glass and pouring it over the floor as opposed to reaching over us. She served the burnt food, knowing full well it was inedible. She was hardly around, though she did try to make it right once we complained and took the pancakes off of our bill. When refilling the coffee, it wasn't hot, but was room temperature. A couple positives are that their quiche was very good and the prices were reasonable.Weird side note: All of the plates and cups are different and not the same. We had 3 people order French toast and every single one came on a different plate. My son's came on a plate that looked like a saucer. It was strange and looked completely unprofessional. For Flanders being around so long and have a great reputation, we were so surprised by our terrible experience. Plenty of other places to get a good breakfast in OCNJ.P.S. We rode our bikes to their restaurant and parked in their parking lot. As we came out, the parking lot attendant was rude and said he was about to have our bikes impounded because we weren't staying at the hotel.
