O.C. Wasabi - Ocean City

Completely underwhelming experience and hands down the worst sushi I've ever had. The staff were pleasant and friendly but this was only enough to save this establishment from a one star review. The steamed dumplings were mildly flavored and looked like the shape of an enlarged soda cap. The fried dumplings were shaped more like a traditional dumpling but were nothing special. The sushi was absolutely disgusting. Every bite we took of our nigiri sushi included oddly mushy

Not a ton of sushi in OCMD. So this is obviously a likely choice for sushi when at the beach. But don?t sleep on this spot, they take serious care to do solid food. And not just sushi either. Had fried rice the other day and it was one of the best we?ve had. Also if you?re down during the off season keep an eye out for their deals.

Do me a favor?get the Maryland fried rice. It comes with shrimp, crab meat and old bay?best fried rice ever! Cozy little spot, I checked beforehand and the website didn?t mention reservations but when we arrived they asked if we had one (then we had to wait about 90 minutes for a table). That?s the only even remotely negative thing I could say. Food was great, hubby had Saki (warm) and he enjoyed. It?s a bit pricy, family of 5 our tab was $200+ but we?ll definitely be back

The only sushi place I found near my hotel I thought there will be a lot of sushi restaurants but it was quite a shock! It's too bad they don't have oyster

This is our go to sushi place in OCWe found it 3 summers ago and we come multiple times every trip! Our most recent visit was on July 4th 2017.
