King's French Fries - Ocean City

I bit into a stone while eating French fries at this restaurant, which caused me to suffer from bad toothaches for 5 months. The incident happened when I was only about 10 feet away from the restaurant, so I gathered the rocks in my hand and asked to speak to the owner. The owner came out, took the rocks from my hand (which was in my mouth), and claimed that they did not serve food with stones in it. Other customers who witnessed the interaction advocated on my behalf for a refund, which I believe is the minimum that should be done in such a situation. The owner's excuse for the presence of the stone in the fries was that they use organic potatoes, but we had to explain to him that potatoes grow in the ground. Initially, I hoped that the pain was due to a damaged nerve, but as of today, 5 months later, I am still experiencing the same level of pain that started when I bit into the rock. I anticipate that the dental work necessary to address the issue will cost me thousands of dollars. In all my 20 years of dining out, I have never encountered a situation like this before. The lack of accountability from the restaurant's owner has left me unable to recommend this establishment to others.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. There were no prices displayed except for a special on child-sized fries for $5.99. I asked for a medium size but was not asked about the size of my drink. When I looked at the prices, I was shocked to find out that my order of medium fries and a large drink cost me $21! After questioning my receipt, I was charged $21.76 and it was not even itemized. I was very disappointed and in disbelief. If I had checked the prices at Thrasher's beforehand, I would have gotten two orders for the same price and received a larger portion. The fries were greasy, some were undercooked, and we couldn't even finish them. I will steer clear of this place in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised by King's Fries! The service was excellent, with the staff being attentive and ensuring our needs were met. My fries were topped with malt vinegar and Old Bay seasoning, which added a delicious flavor to the dish.

BEST FRIES IN OCEAN CITY, MARYLAND! After going to King's French Fries, me and my family no longer have to eat boardwalk fries anywhere else! They are absolutely delicious! The potatoes were freshly cut right in front of us! Incredible! They were hot, seasoned to perfection, you can even have melted cheese added (no other place on the boards does that the variety of bucket sizes was quite impressive, they really pack in a lot of potatoes, they even sell a monster size that is larger than any other shop offers! The prices are very reasonable compared with their competitors! Thrashers has nothing on this shop and King's is close to everything on the boardwalk!!! My family won't be going anywhere else but King's!!!!
