Southern Pig Cattle Co. Ocala Maricamp

I brought my wife here on her birthday, this was our second visit to this restaurant. On our first visit we came here with family and it was decent. The pulled pork wasn't that great but everything else we had was decent. On this visit with my wife we ordered for starters lemon pepper dry rub wings that came out with blackened seasoning, we ate them anyway instead of complaining. We ordered $29.99 ribe eye steaks that were absolutely the worst steaks that we had ever had. We ordered them medium well and when they brought them out they were not cooked correctly they were more like rare steaks , had absolutely no seasoning and bland in taste. Steaks looked more like flank steaks. We just asked for take out boxes and I paid $60 for steaks that I took home and fed my dogs. I don't complain at restaurants I just stop going to them and this one here will not see anymore of my money.

Excellent BBQ! Stopped here passing through and boy I’m glad I did! Perfectly cooked with mild and delicious smokiness. Their sauces are phenomenal and the portions are huge. Lunch was cheap and VERY filling! Service was fantastic! We will definitely returning when in the Ocala area!

Order a large order for pick up for father's day. They did a wonderful job taking the order, pick up was easy and friendly. The food was great! The family feast boxes are a great deal

Thank you for the fantastic BBQ. The food, the company, and the atmosphere were all top-notch. The fried okra and beef sandwiches were awesome. I love the Free Ice Cream Cone to top it all off.

FABULOUS pulled pork, potato salad and Cole slaw. Stopped by for takeout on way home... very speedy service. Will be returning!
