Today is my husband's birthday, so we decided to meet our work dinners. We were in the mood to try something new and he had heard of this place, so we decided to stop by. For a small place it has a large menu. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Blue Melt with Fritten and he got the Texas Burger (comes with fried egg, bacon and cheese) with onion rings. Everything was fresh and delicious! From sitting, ordering, eating and paying, I would say we were there for about 35-40 minutes (especially typical of a seat and it is worth eating). The prices are great for the food you get...real food!! We will definitely go back!
Okay, this place is amazing! A small feeling, right next to a lively railroad with its own small miniature CSX HO train and fantastic food with reasonable prices! I had the homemade meat loaf with homemade potatoes and homemade Gravy with one side spinach. It was absolutely delicious! I definitely come back to this place. Service was also fantastic. The restaurant and the toilets are immaculate, they even had neat toilet paper LOL
It's a down home environment. Pleasant staff. Easy to read menus. Large variety to choose from, breakfast or lunch. A model train runs around the entire restaurant on a track mounted high on the wall. I had two of the items I ordered a specific way, and my breakfast came out to me exactly perfect. I enjoyed every bite. Prices are fair. Easy parking. Note: it is on a one-way street, but easy enough to go around the block. You will find breakfast and lunch items on the menu, including, Greek, Italian and American fare. Coffee is good. I give it 5 stars. Enjoy
Today was our first visit to the diner and it was quite enjoyable. We stopped in for a late breakfast, the French Toast, bacon, and home fries were all very tasty. As the diner is in the old train station it plays off a locomotive theme including a train that runs on a track around the restaurant.
