Contribuiți la feedbackWe had made reservations at another restaurant that evening, but they had some equipment problems and didn't tell us that they were closed that night until we arrived. The chef/owner recommended Petrarum Domus, but maybe only did that because it was one of the few...restaurants open. There were 3 tables with customers, so the service should have been good. It started okay, but by the end of the evening, they wanted us to leave and started banging around in the kitchen and bar, turning off lights, and didn't offer us dessert, an after-dinner drink, or anything, even though there was another couple still eating (dessert, brandy, and coffee). They completely ignored us and we had to ask for the check twice. They overcharged us by 4.40 for couvert items that we did not open (we didn't notice this until we got home). The food was good, but nothing special for the prices. None of us will ever go back there.
Obisos is a city you should not miss in portugal. the whole place is centuries old and beautifully maintained. this small restaurant has a neat cellar like ambiente. it is clean, the service was very good and attentive server made for a beautiful experience....Prices are fair. the toilets were clean, had paper and toilet seats not the norm for this area.
Location along the main road, not more than 10 minutes walk from the bus station. service our server was not excessively friendly, but he did the job, and he speaks great English . eat the creamy vegetable soup was spiced under. the codfish main course was very good the fish was fresh, and all that came with the fish was delicious. ambience- charming, cute, especially when sitting in the tiny upper floor section, it was almost like us sitting in a cellar overall a good experience
