Service is very bad and rude. However, the location is unpaid if you do not care how the staff will treat you (and slow service).

Beautiful location and attractive building. Good food and interior. Hosts and most employees were very friendly, but unfortunately the host was impatient and simply not friendly (i.e. during serving). Rooms and bathrooms were good and clean, but the walls are paper thin, so neighbors can keep you awake easily. Booking process was very unprofessional, I had to send several emails and call several times to finally get someone. There were then misunderstandings, I expected 3x 2-person rooms, but we got 2x 3-person rooms. Not a problem in our case, but added to the unprofessional experience in this respect.

Good food with a great view, but the place shows its age.

At 4:00pm on an holiday day the kitchen is closed and cannot serve even a cold dish like bread and cheese. The restaurant is officially closing at 6pm thou. 5 of staff in the kitchen and 2 waiters are available, not clear to me for what and serving whom. Grotesque “work life balance” in the countryside of Switzerland…
