A typical Austrian restaurant with good Austrian cuisine. The service is friendly and fast and the food delicious. Prices are also reasonable. A good find in Obendorf.

Gasthof Dorfwirt is an excellent choice in Oberndorf for traditional Austrian/German cuisine. One step above the standard guest house departure, which I ate was pork medallions in a mushroom sauce with fresh sparrow noodles. The medallions were tasteful, generously cut and slightly cooked. The sparrows were almost more egg than flour and were a perfect match for a rich sauce and fresh mushrooms. The main dining room was of a traditional design, but everything was in a tasteful style. A small dining room welcomes a local hero and patriot in the movement of Tyrol to independence from Bavaria. It was obvious that this was a family restaurant, with the certificates that the cooking prowess of a now deceased grandma testify proudly to the walls While I went while heavy snow on the ground, but in better weather there is an outdoor beer garden overlooking the Kitzbuhel Alps. I wish I had met this restaurant first during my stay because it overlooked the others I tried!

Not sure what to write about this place. The menu seams to be the same for a decade. All portions had heavy sauces but were not bad. Large soups for starters. If you want the specials you will need to order them a day in advance.
