Ammergauer Maxbrau - Oberammergau

Bavarian restaurant with typical regional specialties on high Nivau. A great praise to the whole team! Despite a sudden rainfall which forced the guests of the beer garden into the interior of the restaurant, all employees have mastered the storm professionally and friendly and apologized for the somewhat longer waiting period than usual. After about 35 minutes came hot, tasty food, pre-cooled drinks, homemade beer according to IPA style and all in a well maintained, clean ambience. Therefore: All top, clear recommendation!

Nice ambience you felt comfortable, the in-house cellar beer has tasted very well. I had crust roasts the meat was still a bit too strong but delicious.

We accidentally landed here looking for a beer garden. The beer garden is small and really nice, slightly higher. We didn't eat anything, just drinking. When we were here, there were still many free places. The beer is extremely tasty and also the service friendly and welcoming. Also inside it is really nice with a great, large bar, all bright and brewing boilers. The toilets are clean and have a very great changing corner, so also with child you are welcome. There is no playground or play area. We really liked it here, would come back at any time and is a clear recommendation.

Were in a Saturday afternoon in the beer garden, had ordered a salad and was really very enthusiastic. Very lovingly prepared with many fresh fruits and also made rich. To the very good anger salad there was fresh cumin. Everything served by a very friendly service. So everything really nice and quiet. Come on.

I was here two years ago and wanted to go back alone for the good beer! The restaurant is really nice and has both a rustic indoor area and a beautiful beer garden, however, it is located on the street so that it can sometimes be a bit loud (so a star trigger, but hardly worth the speech). This year's visit was attended by the Pepperhaxe and Bearlauch Risotto... Both extremely tasty and high quality! The prices are completely okay. The service was friendly but unfortunately somewhat overwhelmed the beer garden was also very well visited... We had to wait some places, but that was completely in the green area For dessert there were Kaiserschmarrn who I really can only recommend! Totally fluffy and fine sweet... There are vanilla ice cream, cranberries and apple compote. Great!
