Catalpa Cafe - Oark

Hands down the best hidden gem on which I accidentally stumbled. There's a gravel road that takes you there, but it's worth it. Randy is one of the biggest chefs I've ever met. My group ordered 4 different entries and pages to go. He cooked the entire order in about 15 minutes, to the highest quality you could get, and had done everything at the same time. All we ordered was amazing. French toast, roasted potatoes/bread, burger and Broccoli-Cochdar soup. My only regret is not to know how great this place is and no longer ordered. Treat yourself.

It's the best 1 man show and in Backwood's Arkansas about it. 5 star chef and the atmosphere was cozy.

Increíble food. I traveled quite far from the way to eat here and it was soooooo worth it. Order a few items and everything was so delicious. Had a piece of cake to go because we have eaten so much, and my biggest regret is no longer! I'm back!

This place is amazing. Finding this hidden jewel that was fucked back in the Ozark Mountains was the best part of our journey! It's by far the best food I've ever eaten. There's no way I ever get back to the ozark mountains without stopping at Catalpa Café. I wish I could give it 20 stars

I have been to this area many times and never came this far East to try it out. Today was the day to do just that and we were more than satisfied. Great Burger and onion rings and just a real cool place to visit while enjoying the twisty roads of Arkansas on 2 wheels.
