7&46 Shop - Oakwood

Great little icecream shop located on Hwy 7. Lots of room to pull of from the Hwy and park. Seating available outside. They have added giftware and olive oil this year and it adds to the character of the building.

7&46 is a seasonal Shop selling Kawartha Ice cream in many wonderful flavours. (perhaps it is a good thing we live 1200 km away) Salty caramel truffle is so far my favorite.They have prepackaged salads - food to go - plus supplies for campers/cottagers like frozen steaks and sausages. Coffee as well, I think.And...a selection of gift items - We happened upon them one trip when we got lost and now make it a destination stop. (somehow I don't think we are alone in doing that!) The owner and staff are great. A nice place to go and return to.

We had been on the road a long time and needed a break to stretch our legs. Ice Cream was on our minds and we found 7&46 Shop.Wonderful ice creamGreat people who work there.The washroom is an outhouse, but when you gotta go you are happy to have something :)You cannot beat Kawartha Ice Cream

This is the place for possibly the best tasting bread in all of Paris! From sandwiches to croissants, baked goods are elevated to a true art form.
