Bombay Bhel - Oakville

Nothing Special. The food was tasty and the prices were reasonable for what you got. However for some reason the atmosphere at this restaurant was not right. It was apparent that the wait staff had some dispute with the other staff that day. This made us feel quite uncomfortable with the place. The other problem was there was really nothing memorable about the food. It was not bad however it was not exceptional either.

Very tasty with reasonable prices. Nicely appointed dining room, with friendly and courteous service. We'll be back!

So much more for so much less!. Bombay Bhel has been the only restaurant I will order from for 4 years. Their food is top quality, and there is a wide variety. Best of all, though, is the prices. Not only are the prices for each dish cheaper than most other places, the dish actually comes with a side rice or naan too! I've yet to find an Indian restaurant that will give you a dish and a naan for under $10, let alone under $5 more than Bombay Bhel. My big complaints are that they don't deliver, and there are no locations near downtown TO where I now live. I almost always choose the Oakville location, but have also been to the Eglinton, Battleford, and Sheppard locations and they are all excellent.

Why they chose to open a family resturaunt beside a sex oriented store is beyond me, either way there is still good food, although my stomach always has troubles settling after I eat there

The one in Oakville is better than the Thornhill location, but for hearty, family style Indian food, look no futher than THE BHEL!
