Contribuiți la feedbackI stopped for breakfast at about 8am. I was truly touched by the humanness in the manager that worked that morning. I didn't get your name but I saw you. I wish her every wonderful thing this world has to offer. We need more humans like you.
We were traveling from Pennsylvania to Colorado and stopped in for breakfast. We realized quickly that the server was alone and were patient with that. She said that she would get us coffee and 5 more tables came in and were seated. They got their drinks and we still didn 't have coffee. She apologized for that and we understood. When she came the third time and asked us again our drinks, I said thank you and I guess I could order now as I saw others ordering that came in long after I did. When I said I could order now, the server actually YELLED at me and screamed I am by myself! I stated that I wasn 't upset or meaning anything by it and she screamed again, yes you did! We left at that point. By the way we were there for an hour and received nothing. What a waste of travel time. I can 't tell you how the food was but the experience was horrible for me being 60+, I have never been yelled at in my life by a waitress.
Crystal took our order and was cheerful and quick to suggest some options that were great. The travel center was well kept with many things to see
This restaurant was wonderful! The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Since it's located next to a gas station, we were able to do some shopping for our trip afterward.
I can't comment on the quality of the food or drinks since we never got that far. After a few minutes of waiting to be seated, we sat for a long time watching people who were seated after us place their orders and even receive their food. I tried to get the waitress's attention several times, but was ignored. When she finally came to our table, I pointed out that she wasn't serving her customers in order and that we were a bit put off by it. I was hoping for an apology and some reassurance that she would be more attentive, but instead, she responded with a huge attitude, claiming it wasn't her fault and asking what we wanted her to do about it. My mom expressed that we just didn’t want to be ignored, to which the waitress replied, "I'm here now. What do you want to do?" with the same aggressive tone. Frustrated, I said, "I guess nothing. Come on, Mom, let's go," and we walked out. The restaurant was moderately busy, but nothing that a competent server couldn't handle. As an experienced server myself, having worked at a well-managed IHOP, I know what it takes to ensure a good customer experience. We were just passing through, but we won't be stopping there again.
